Opened in Seiseki-Sakuragaoka after about 20 years of training at Machidaya. Carefully selected bones are replaced twice a day to create a rich, punchy soup. The noodles are from Sakai Seimen, the classic choice for iekei ramen. We'll do our very best, so please come and give it a try.

The price and quality are decent There is a discounted Ramen option for students. Normal size Ramen costs 620 yen and, bigger one is plus 100yen. This is the one of the cheapest Ramen of this kind, I rarely see such a reasonable Ramen of this kind. I really love such student-friendly price. As of the taste, this is really well-balanced Ramen that everyone should enjoy. As you may know, this Ramen is categorized in Iekei style Ramen which features the combination of Shoyu taste and pork broth. In some restaurant, they offer unbalanced Ramen which contains too much Shoyu or too much pork broth. Those Ramens are not enjoyable for those who don't like strong taste. However, this restaurant's Ramen keeps great balance between Shoyu and pork broth(Mild pork broth matches well with Shoyu taste). I think this one is good for everyone even if they don't like heavy Ramen.(Iekei Ramen is generally considered as a heavy Ramen.) If you wanna give a try to your first time Iekei Ramen experience, this place never get you disappointed. thought the ramen itself isn't that bad, the service is really bad. His bluff attitude made me soo offended. 2 stars out of 5

Today's lunch‼️ Had a little errand, so I headed to the town that's apparently the setting of Whisper of the Heart 🫡 Country Road vibes❓ Renewed my license in the morning, then a business trip in the afternoon, so lunch on the way😑✨ After some research, I was in the mood for Iekei ramen🍜, so I went to せいせき家🍜✨ One customer ahead of me, and the shop smelled exactly like an Iekei place❤️ Chashu-men🍜 with half rice and seasoned green onion topping‼️ Firm noodles, stronger flavor✨ Bowl arrived in 4-5 minutes❤️ Strong flavor goes great with rice🍚, right~✨ Topping green onions and chashu🍖 on the rice🍚 The soup had little gaminess, a mellow flavor that's easy to eat😆 Nice, nice‼️ Partway through, added a bit of garlic🧄… So gooood~❤️ Discovered another great shop today‼️ Thanks for the meal‼️

☆せいせき家☆ This shop is an offshoot of Machida-ya. It's my first visit in about 3 years. There were 3 large stockpots. The soup is cooked thoroughly, and a nice smell drifts all the way outside the shop. The Sakai noodles were boiled in tebo. The soup is the balanced type. Plenty of chicken oil floats on top and it smells great. The soup isn't viscous and has no gamey taste, but there was just a tiny bit of graininess in the aftertaste. At the first sip I thought it was a bit light, but the pork bone aroma is good and it has umami. The dashi flavor slowly catches up, and the lingering finish is nice. How should I put it, there's no extraneous flavor… But it's simply delicious. The soy sauce flavor is restrained. Last time it was quite salty, but today I had the opposite impression, thinking it could be a little stronger. The saltiness isn't strong and the kaeshi is mellow. Plenty of soup, and it stayed piping hot to the end. The Sakai noodles are slightly wavy, medium-thick, and short. Cooked to just the right firmness. They weren't chewy, but they were tasty. The pork shoulder loin chashu was normal in size and thick. It had a meaty, firm texture that gets a bit stuck in your teeth. The seasoning was on the strong side too. The spinach was a normal amount. A little on the soft side, but it had its natural flavor. Extra nori was 7 sheets. The glossy nori was normal in size and normal in thickness. The texture is fine, but it shrinks a little when soaked in the soup. The flavor was pretty good. The green onion garnish was a suitable amount of rings added in beforehand. It had some bite and made a good condiment. Yep. The soup itself was lighter than last time. The soy sauce flavor was just right, and the balance was better this time. They haven't raised prices since 3 years ago — they're really making an effort. Thanks for the meal.

Visited Sunday at 12:00 The shop has 6 counter seats, with 1 customer ahead of me. Chose ramen (720 yen) at the ticket machine All preferences normal My impression of the first sip of soup was that it felt a bit mild, but by the time I finished it, it was just right.

Came here after having cake at the shop across the street. Maybe I got the order backwards? When I entered, I made eye contact with the owner, but there was no “irasshai” greeting, and with a “Did I mess up?” feeling in the air, I headed to the ticket machine. Pressed regular ramen and small rice. They asked my preferences, so I went with light flavor, no oil. The bowl arrived a few minutes later. The taste was to my liking. Toppings were a little tightly squeezed spinach, 3 sheets of nori, and a small chashu. That nori was delicious! Not the thin, greenish, flimsy kind you sometimes get at ramen shops of this type, so thin you can see through it and it dissolves in the soup, but the thick, fragrant kind. Dip it in the soup and wrap rice with it — the best taste. It made me think, “I'm glad I was born Japanese.” Maybe the rice is meant to be eaten with the soup? Eaten on its own, it was cooked on the firm side. Delivery couriers kept coming in and out nonstop while I was eating, so maybe it's a pretty popular shop? I'm not sure, but I thought I might come back. *Today's garlic activity: 5 teaspoons of grated garlic
