A magical place to discover especially if you or your kids are fans of Sanrio characters. There are few rides inside, buffet theme hello Kitty and friends restaurant, and cute cafe. It is an indoor great theme park, about 50 to 40 minutes train ride from Tokyo station. They have as well many stores selling cute Sanrio merchandise. It’s an enjoyable relaxing place with amazing kids shows especially if outside is raining or hot since it is fully indoor.

This is such a cool theme park! It is, of course, geared towards children- and there are long wait times for the rides. With that being said, we had a fantastic day! There's so much to do and see. If you want to see the parade claim your spot early, it fills up fast. We were content with just wandering around and catching glimpses of it now and then. The gift shops were great (although a little pricey). You'll find so many items there that that I've never seen anywhere else. Also, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall worth the visit

All staff were friendly and helpful. The parade is worth it, beyond what I expected. The fairy show was surprisingly lovely, with very talented performers. For a hello kitty and friends lover it is worth the time and a bit out of the way venture. The train ride there was a lot, so if you can afford it take a taxi or other car service. The area was not terribly wheelchair friendly- exiting the train to sidewalks etc, the getting there was really the main downside. Also as I am not someone who has traveled much when you exit the train there is a sort of plaza area, head into that plaza outdoor mall area, then approach from there. If you follow the walking navigation directions you end up dumped out in the street/bus pick up and drop off and parking. Then you have to find your way back up. So hopefully others can learn from my mistakes. Also the first impression (from street) was a bit underwhelming. The building seemed worn and faded, but inside was great. The staff were very accommodating as to the wheelchair although it was a bit strained as though they don’t get a lot of wheel chair needed situations? Also just be aware the boat ride is only available to people who can walk short distance/transfer. I meant to do that but was busy with other things and did not make it to the boats. They close promptly including the store. US travelers used to Disney things will find this odd as Disney parks have the store open as you leave to choose souvenirs. Just a heads up that food allergies (wheat and nuts) was a struggle, again staff was lovely and kind, but no food for me there that day. Also this was 100% complicated by my lack of language skill, which I completely recognize is my shortcoming not the people or place. Just a heads up for travelers with special considerations to be prepared and plan a bit more. The staff were lovely with a pocket translator and we did our best.

Time for kawaii overload! It’s an assault on the senses with many floors of Sanrio cuteness. Dining on the 4th floor is lovely - we had the buffet in the Restaurant Yakata and it was a yummy time where I tasted over 30 dishes. The lines for the two major rides was quite long (60-100 minutes) but thankfully I paid the extra $10-ish per person for priority line so I only waited 10-15 minutes (time is money btw). To get a character photo be sure to log into the wi-fi as soon as you enter to grab a time spot. The parade was adorable with lots of dancing and story was in Japanese. Personally I booked on Klook which was super easy for me.

Money worth spent as a fan of sanrio characters 🤩 hats off to amazing performers and theatre acts. We had an wonderful time seeing 2 shows and 2 parades in a day. Did not went to any of the rides because the waiting time is long. Food is okay and love the interior designs. Merchs were not that great but I get to snatch Usahana high school uniform. I'm a happy gal. Please add more Usahana merchandises
