This store cannot use the electric money, but there are very delicious Udon and good clerks.

Delicious udon with a firm bite. I really recommend having it zaru-style. The prices are reasonable too. You can choose 100g200g300g, all at the same price. There are 6 shared parking spaces for the shopping street, but they're a little tight, so be careful.

I don't know why, but with only two–three people waiting, I waited over 10 minutes. I arrived at 1:25 and got in at 1:42… They seemed short-staffed, so when a few inefficiencies pile up, you wait a bit… But everyone was working hard, so I waited while cheering them on in my head(^^;). The limited “Yokubari Set” udon was sold out, so I chose “kakiage udon (920 yen including tax).” Noodle portions of 200g, 300g, and 400g all cost the same, and when I heard they could do 350g too, I custom-ordered 350g (laugh). I think the bowl arrived a little faster than the time I spent waiting outside. The broth isn't very salty, making it easy to drink, but the dashi isn't pronounced, so drinking it isn't very satisfying. The udon… is a little hard, like firm noodles. The flavor is simple, but it has a springy feel and wasn't unpleasant to eat. I wonder if this is Tama udon…. The topping was kakiage, with a moderate amount of batter. The vegetables, such as carrot and onion, were cut into large, rough chunks, making it substantial and a delicious way to eat vegetables.

The kakiage is crispy and springy. The niku-jiru udon is delicious too, combining flavorful, chewy udon with a rich meat-broth dipping sauce😋 With beer, porco would give it 5 stars, but they don't serve alcohol. I'm sure many ladies and gentlemen in Tama would love to enjoy a drink with this kakiage tempura, then finish with some slippery udon. I think this is the best udon in Tama City. Thank you for the meal.

I love Ponpoko's udon and go regularly♪ I especially like the toriten udon and curry udon. You can choose the portion size, but lately normal (300g) fills me up! This time, for the first time in a while, I ordered the udon with thick black vinegar and minced meat sauce, and it warmed me right up! Be aware, apparently they're closed from 5/3〜5/7 during GW 2026!
