If you're looking for a unique and inviting place to work, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a delicious rice ball, then look no further than this charming locally owned cafe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a touch of vintage charm thanks to the carefully curated selection of accessories, clothing and locally crafted art for sale. There aren’t that many “rice ball cafes” around so that alone is worth a visit. So next time you're in the area, skip the chain cafes and give this hidden gem a try.

A couple of nice vegan onigari options. Nice place by the river

I had the omusubi set for lunch; it looked beautiful, seemed nutritionally balanced, and I was very satisfied. Not just the omusubi, but even each of the small side dishes was carefully made. The staff's service was warm too, and it was very soothing before my afternoon work. It seems takeout is available too, so next time I think I'll go buy some to bring along on a walk by the Tama River.

I love the relaxed time inside the shop. What should I have for lunch? A shop I recommend for when you want a lunch that's different from usual.

A shop along the Ogurigawa River; a fellow mom told me it was a nice place, and this was my first time going. Right when you enter there's a small display case, and you order there based on the menu. It was close to Setsubun that day, so there were demon onigiri. Two onigiri, plus a (main?) small dish, tonjiru, and salad came to about 1000 yen. Everything was healthy and delicious Above all, the onigiri fillings were varied and very delicious. And most of all, the look! They're super cute, so I recommend it!
