That ramen has a strong soy sauce flavor. If you like soy sauce, I recommend it. And I recommend adding crushed garlic to the soup.

I went to try the limited-time Shibikara Mala Tantanmen. This isn't my favorite shop, but I was drawn in by the catchphrase "plenty of ground sesame" and "stimulating aroma of Sichuan pepper," so I went with high expectations. The result was... Nothing like the catchphrase; the ground sesame wasn't rich, the Sichuan pepper didn't smell, and the soup itself was thin and lacked depth. It was a failure after all. I won't be coming here again.

This time I visited to try the limited-time 'Garlic Back-fat Soy Sauce Ramen'. I had it before, but it lacked punch overall, and I felt the thin noodles were weak, so I was curious about this time. I had heard they used special thick noodles (by Kairikiya standards), so I was looking forward to it. Conclusion, it was deliciously improved. It seems you can't increase the noodle portion, but I think it would be perfect if enjoyed with the strategy of increasing volume with Kairikiya's signature side dishes. It was delicious~

Parking is available. You can specify the noodle firmness when ordering. Pickled radish (takuan) and green onions are all-you-can-eat to your liking. The rice for the set menu is the same price even for a large portion.
