This coffee shop has been here since 1979 when there were very few houses and roads around it. The decor is more European than Canadian and the vibe is closer to some old cafes found in Tokyo downtown. It’s definitely not Tim Horton despite the name. Very relaxing to sit either at their table or the counter. No WiFi so take your book or friend with you to enjoy an analog moment away from your home office.

Good atmosphere. Good quality food. There’s nothing really Canadian about it though. Don’t expect poutine~ Came here twice. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. The quality of the food was pretty good. But it was a bit expensive for what it was and the portion was not quite enough. Note that the thick toast (+¥100) in the morning set is to replace the thin toast not in addition to. Not worth it. The original toast is already pretty thick. Can barely tell the difference. It was a bit expensive for me, but would recommend for the atmosphere.

The coffee was nice and strong. Great cafe au lait. Served with warm milk to add to your own liking.

I ordered an iced cafe au lait and they brought me well chilled milk instead of a small portion of milk.

Today's visit May 6, 2018, around 3PM. Our male server wearing white was really nice and attentive. 5 stars for him. ☺️ The ones wearing black (male and female) behind the counter were talking and laughing quite annoyingly. So, 2 stars for them. 🙄 I give 5 stars to the place, decor and the ambience. It's really lovely, the lighting, the music. ☺️ What I didn't like was the food. I ordered their pasta Napolitan, and thought I'd enjoy it because I was really hungry. But my hunger didn't help make it a bit more appetizing. I ate a few bites. I'm usually the type who doesn't want to waste food, but I just couldn't finish it. 😞 Coffee was good. Good place to catch up on your reading ☺️
