This set (I ordered whatever I wanted to try) truly encapsulated the classic, cozy Japanese coffee shop experience. Their dark roast coffee was served in an exceptionally elegant pink and white porcelain cup, a rich, aromatic….deeply satisfying brew. As the deep color of the coffee showcased, it gave me a strong, and robust flavor with amazing bitterness. Their coffee jelly with vanilla ice cream was a delightful pairing. The dark, firm jelly created a bittersweet, concentrated coffee flavor, providing a wonderful contrast to the large, creamy scoop of vanilla ice cream perched on top. Finally, their doughnut, a small, ring-shaped cake lightly dusted with sugar, offered a charming complement. Its size and texture gave me a perfect light, subtly sweet bite alongside the bold coffee with slight crunchy texture😍

Found this absolute delight of a cafe, the interior was really cosy with seating upstairs for those dining in, the owner takes absolute care to keep his guest comfortable. The set breakfast was well priced with great tasting and strong coffee. The doughnut was interesting and was closer to a sponge cake with a light dusting of icing. Given the space I would say it’s more suited for a single person or a couple.

Absolutely an adorable place to go for breakfast, the sweet owners are very welcoming and the pricing is more than fair. The place itself is kinda small but if you head there early you'll find it to be very quiet, definetly reccomended

A delightful small cafe in Ueno that is cash-only. The owner is warm and welcoming. There is a limited menu, which was nice as a traveler with limited Japanese :) The cafe is small, however, with only four two-person tables upstairs. I dined in and had the latte with toast. Such a treat!
