⏱️ Fast service: 5/5 🫶 Friendly service: 4/5 🍢 Tasty food: 5/5 💸 Value for money: 5/5 Fabulous place if you want to experience real Japanese izakaya - a casual Japanese gastropub where people gather to drink, and share a variety of small dishes. Be mindful that you're eating while standing. I ate delicious sashimi with almost no waiting time. Refreshing soda with lemon was a nice addition after a long day 🍋
View on GoogleTried the Miyagi fried oysters (4 pieces) 850 yen are good and fresh. The plain noodles with spring onions and slices of lemon 750 yen was surprisingly good except the portion is rather small. The beer big glass was refreshing 1300 yen. Overall good crowd and food is okay. Smoking is allowed outside the restaurant.
View on GoogleThe atmosphere is the best! YELLO in Kuramae is Tokyo’s hidden gem for lemon sours and fried chicken lovers. The atmosphere is casual, vibrant, and full of local charm. Their house-made lemon syrup adds the perfect balance of tartness to every drink, and the crispy white-dashi karaage is addictive. Staff are friendly, and the music gives it an after-work buzz without feeling crowded. Perfect spot for spontaneous nights and good conversations over a drink (or three).
View on GoogleKind young lady was working and service was great. Prices were very reasonable. Had a beer, sake, salted kelp olives first. Finished with a lemon sour and fried chicken thighs. Highly recommend for solo or couples.
View on Googlethis is my must visit every time i’m in tokyo. the menu is somewhat seasonal so there’s a new thing to try every time, but my favorites remain the same: karaage, kanpachi carpaccio, cod milt (both raw and fried). paired with a spicy lemon gin sour, I’ll be standing and yapping for hours.
