Convenient, quick, and clean. This is a cafe with a lot of variety offering both indoor dining and takeout. From sweet to savory you will absolutely find something here for you to eat, which is a luxury in a country that isn’t as big on breakfast as others. Everything here tastes fresh and baked with care, the quality is downright good. We also got a matcha latte that was light and earth rounding out the meal. A great grab and go option for those in Asakusa.
View on GoogleWent on a morning, many choices both sweet and savory. I picked out 4 items to share with my mom including the salt bread which people recommend. After paying i tried the salt bread outside and went in and took a few more 😂🤭 it was really good.
View on GoogleSuch a great find! We went in just as they’d opened in the morning and they were bringing out all the fresh bakes. The salt bread is a must try for sure. We got the ham and egg pastry as well as the potato and onion ones as savouries. Both fillings were delicious and the bread was soft. As a sweet we got the orange pastry, which smelled and tasted great! The coffee was a bit overdone and tasted burnt. We don’t recommend getting it.
View on GoogleThis is a lovely local bakery with lots of sweet and savory options. You take a tray and tongs and select what you would like, then pay at the registers, you can get by without Japanese with hand motions if need be. The ladies working are very friendly. We tried many things, the pain aux raisin, salt bread, and apple pastries were our favorites, but you really can’t go wrong. There is a seating area upstairs and a smoking room. Weekdays it is pretty smoky, one Sunday afternoon it was not and we ate inside. Give them a try for a tasty breakfast or afternoon snack.
View on GoogleI live in France and this bakery is worth it. There’s a good choice of breads for a decent price, space to sit and eat and the staff are kind. I had the a loaded cheesy toast with fresh tomatoes/onion, egg, corn, bacon and broccoli for 285 yen. Really enjoyed it ! Only minor criticism is the bread was a bit less fluffy due to it having being toasted probably 1h before, which can’t be helped. The staff do reheat it up for you and the quality toppings mean you don’t really notice.
