Lovely little place! The owner is super friendly & patient with foreigners - apologies for our bad Japanese! The food was amazing, especially the A5 wagyu. I personally also reccomend the egg soup - it's super delicious! :-)

View on GoogleStrong distrust after a statement made right after ordering. Both the quantity and the service are very problematic. I came alone and ordered one serving of kalbi (1,490 yen) and cold noodles (1,000 yen), but right after ordering, the staff said something unbelievable. > "If you come alone, I need you to eat 3 servings of yakiniku. Because there are gas costs and grill costs. It's the same at other shops." There is no rule written anywhere in the explanations upon entry, the menu, or the in-store notices that "3 servings are mandatory for 1 person." Nevertheless, saying this the moment I ordered is extremely dishonest and cannot be overlooked as service for a restaurant. Furthermore, the one serving of kalbi provided (see photo) was a very small amount of about 5-6 pieces, which is not worth the price of 1,490 yen at all. - Explanation that effectively forces the order quantity immediately after ordering - Clearly small serving amount - Poor balance with price These things piled up, and as a user, I felt strong anxiety and distrust. For those who want to eat with peace of mind, especially those using it alone, I feel there are many points to know in advance about this shop.
View on GoogleDon't be fooled by the high reviews. I went just based on the rating score without reading the reviews, and I regretted it more than anything. I decided to post a review so there wouldn't be any future victims. First, the cost performance is the worst. The meat is smaller than I've ever seen. I regret not having a photo, but what came out was a small piece of blackish meat even smaller than the meat in the one-star review posted just before. The price for this was about 2000 yen per serving. I also ordered other meat for about 3000 yen, but there was nothing like the meat in the high-review photos. Is it a matter of the time or timing of the visit? Next, the worst customer service that made me decide to post the lowest rating review. From the start, they used casual language, but since I looked younger than the staff, I thought that might happen. However, there is casual language that includes friendly warmth, but it wasn't like that at all, and it was quite cold from this point on. (Of course, I continued to respond politely with honorifics.) During the meal, (although I felt the cost performance was quite bad and the service was not pleasant,) I wanted to have a fun time with the friend I came with, so I tried not to mind it. The problem happened at the time of payment. When my friend confirmed the payment method, "Do you accept QR payment?", the answer was shocking: "Huh? Never mind, pay quickly. Hurry. Pay the money. It's the checkout, right? Just pay for now." I was so surprised that I had no words. In the end, with no words to return, we both paid a little over 12,000 yen in cash, but neither our stomachs nor our hearts were satisfied at all. Rather, my precious time with my friend was ruined, and I was filled with sad feelings. Since I usually work in sales, I have eaten at various restaurants across the country and overseas, from popular dining to high-end dining, but this is definitely the worst.
View on GoogleAll the meat was delicious like I've never eaten before! If you eat meat of this level, it usually seems very expensive, but here you can order it for under 2000 yen. If you want to eat luxury meat, this is definitely the best! The rice and oikimchi are also delicious! Definitely come on a day you want to splurge.
