someone might be had bad time here so i was but worry. but i had good time here. food was good too. highly recommend homemade pretzels :)

I called into this place late at night on the way back to my hotel from Akihabara. The owner was very friendly and helpful to me as an English speaking foreigner. The imported beers were just what I was looking for, they were at the perfect temperature and were well priced. The owner gave me and a couple of other guys I met at the bar a delicious complimentary snack to eat with the beers. One of those guys was a German expatriate who frequents the bar which is always a good sign. The atmosphere and lighting is very comfortable and there is German / Bavarian style music playing in the background. I will definitely be sending my Australian friends here. I can see why this place is popular. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I wanted to like this place, but there were several issues. Several items on the menu were out of stock, the online menu was slightly different than the menu at the place, we weren't allowed to sit inside since the tables were reserved even though there was tons of space most of the time we were there, and the worst offender was the extremely poor service. Our waiter took around 15 minutes to deliver our drinks, then another 20 minutes to deliver our first plate, which was incorrect. Then, 15 minutes later, the rest of the food came out. It was not as the other reviewer had said. The food did taste good though.

One of the worst places in Tokyo. The manager is utterly charmless and overtly rude and his lackey sidekick is barely human in his utter incompetence. Overpriced with flat beer, stale and barely edible food and an atmosphere worse than the local funeral. A horrible and disgusting place with the worst staff in the whole of Tokyo. Go anywhere else. Even the nearby Family Mart has better drinks and food.

My go to for German beers & cuisine in Tokyo. Highly recommended for drinks with friends, or a night out.
