A friendly and authentic sushi 🍣 restaurant. I had a wonderful evening, the owner and chef was so kind and share his best type of sushis and sake for us. I recommend highly! 😀

Every time I went in regardless of the time the owner would say closed ! So evidently it's against foreigners!

I was craving イワシのガリ巻き. Visited on Sunday evening at 17:30. No other customers yet. I wanted to focus on the food, but イワシのガリ巻き really calls for a drink. So I added a bottled beer. For sushi, I had 上寿司. It had 筋子 rather than イクラ. I like 筋子, so it worked out fine. I was full. A little too much for me, perhaps. I could even have done without the rolls. Bonus points for the marinated lean tuna. I also like that the sushi rice isn't too big. I'd like to visit again.

We arrived much earlier than our reservation, but they kindly let us in and opened the Japanese-style room at the back for us^ ^ The ハマグリ焼き and 銀鱈煮付け were perfectly seasoned, tender, and delicious. That raised our expectations for the sushi too. The 特上寿司 had 2 pieces of chūtoro, uni, ikura, egg, scallop, and squid. All for 2000円. Everything was thick-cut with generous toppings and sooo good. Next we ordered 上寿司 for 1500円. Chūtoro, lean tuna, scallop, egg, shrimp, ikura, and squid. We also ordered anago, ikura, and kazunoko. There were two of us, and we were completely satisfied〜^ ^ Delicious and great value; no wonder locals keep coming. I'd love to return. The service was friendly and casual, making it very comfortable!^ ^ I only deducted 1 for the atmosphere because smoking is allowed😓
