Final verdict: will absolutely repeat! 📒🇬🇧English menu. The staff spoke some English. 💴Reasonably priced!! 💁🏻♂️Super friendly & welcoming staff!!! And thoughtful- he cut our 3 dumplings in half so the two of us could share them evenly! 🥢Super tasty food! Everything was rich in flavor. It wasn't too heavy, and was just the right amount to feel satisfied!
View on GoogleThere’s no windows so it may be a little intimidating to go in. However, the price is reasonable, the food is delicious, and the chef is kind. The restaurant specializes in chicken ramen. The broth is clear and simple. The chicken is tender. There is no unnecessary ingredients. They also have izakaya food at night which is also tasty😋
View on GoogleVery delicious chicken soba. We spent four nights in Tokyo and two of the nights we had dinner here. It’s that good. The dried garlic dressing worth a try too.
View on GoogleHad the shio and it was an umami delight. Adding the dry garlic flakes that they keep on the table gave just the right amount of aroma. It was unexpectedly delicious -- don't know if I'll ever be back in this particular neighborhood, but if I am, I'd go again!
View on GoogleSatake Shopping Street, said to be the second oldest in Japan Wakamatsu, a ramen shop devoted to chicken broth. There are wall-facing counters on 3 sides. No tables. You buy a meal ticket from the vending machine. 🟩Shio set (900 yen tax included) Thin noodles, chicken chashu, spinach, takikomi rice, homemade pickles. Generous amount of chicken chashu. The chicken-based soup is simple. A bit more richness might give it more impact. The takikomi rice has a nice ginger flavor. After eating half, I soaked it in the soup. The homemade pickles are tasty!
