Had such a great experience here. Both food and experience were unique. We ordered the set with a lucky draw option, where we picked rice scoops from a box to determine the accompanying side dishes you get, along with your choice of ume. You can change it if you dont like the side dishes. Food was amazing and rice refills are free. We had 2 bowls of rice each here. The Umes here are great and you can always ask the staff for their recommendations. Seats are limited.

MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST SPOT IN TOKYO!! If it was open everyday I would go everyday but I came here 3/4 days I was in Tokyo!! They specialize in umeboshi and they have 17 different ones to choose from and it is my goal to try each and every one. My favorites so far is the yaki ume and mikan Ume. They also sell small jars of each one AND it’s under 100ml so you can pack it and bring it back! The plum juice is so wonderful too. Their breakfast set is so delicious, I wish I could choose my side dishes but it’s fun to randomize them. Next time I’d love to try their lunch sets, the fried chicken looks so good. Come early, there’s usually a line for it!

Cute spot near the temple that specializes in plum (Ume) and provides a mind boggling variety of plums with different taste profiles. Set lunches allow you to pick the plum to have it with your rice. We brought our 3 year old there and she also enjoyed the experience. You can also order the umeshu to try as well.

Japanese breakfast, and it was a delightful experience! The rice smelled amazing and tasted just as good. I ordered a set meal and a plum soda, and the way the set was chosen—by picking a random stick from a jar—made it even more fun. A unique and enjoyable dining experience! 😊🍙✨

Went here to try Japanese breakfast. They offer a breakfast only menu as well as some all day menus. They all include refillable white rice, a plum (today the choice was between 16 types), fluffy eggs and miso soup. They also have a fun option to pick the side dishes randomly. The wait time to get seated around 10:30AM was VERY long but still a 5 cus the food and staff were very nice. Tap water is free, maybe even tea.
