I highly recommended this place but with some precautions. Writing this as a foreigner with minimal Japanese language capability. I and my partner were looking for an izakaya on our way to the hotel and found this place by accident. We were skeptical at first since we only see Japanese uncles inside and we smell cigarettes but decided to go in anyway. The staff also looks a bit surprised to see foreigner but welcomed us anyway. We were warmly welcomed by a waitress who has communicable english, but the menus are in Japanese and it only has basic menu like pickles, karaage and says like “Daily Recommendation starts 480 yen”. The waitress tried her best to help us but we still struggle a lot. The daily recommendations menu is handwritten and posted on the wall. Google translate didn’t help much so we just randomly pointed at some menus to get something to try. We were a bit gloomy here as we were very hungry and don’t really know what we ordered. Fast forward 10 minutes the food came, and they are sooooooo delicious! This is toward the end of our 15 days trip and this restaurant is hands down the best we had in our trip. The sashimi tastes even better than fresh fish specialized shop we went. And the grilled fish were MUCH better than some famous shop we lined up for. From this point our mood lifted greatly and we start our random food spree pointing at anything we think look interesting. None of the food disappoints, and this shop easily became our most memorable meal in the whole trip. Once we get going the staffs also come to try chat with us with some basic english, and I tried to chat with my anime-watcher level broken Japanese. We left extremely satisfied and a bit sad we did not get to return for more as we have schedules for the next day. I highly recommend this place if you are not a picky eater and would like to try some genuine local cuisine. Just be respectful and don’t go in expecting to communicate in English. The food I posted here may not be available the day you visit, honestly just pick some random food on the menu and you won’t be disappointed.

I stopped by on my way home from work, and I spent a very satisfying time. The point that I can highly recommend as an izakaya is that the food is very delicious and the variety of drinks is abundant. There is the fun of choosing from a rich menu and the comfort, so I think it is optimal as a shop for daily use. I was surprised by the speed at which food and drinks are served after ordering. The cleanliness of the shop is also impeccable, and the orderly feeling of the seats and toilets further enhances the comfort. The customer service of all the staff was also very wonderful. Because they welcome you with a smile that never ceases and a lively atmosphere, you can spend time relaxing. Overall, the taste and volume are impeccable, and it was a wonderful experience that makes me want to go again.

I stopped by on my way home from work, all the dishes were delicious, and it was a volume that I was happy with on a day when I wanted to eat properly. There were various types of drinks, and it was good to be able to choose according to the mood of the day. It was fast from ordering to coming out, the shop was lively, and the bright response of the staff was impressive. The area around the seats and the restroom were also clean, so I could spend time slowly without being tense.

I'm happy that it's open late! The sashimi is so delicious that it doesn't feel like an izakaya. The onigiri is big and delicious, and the grilled onigiri is also crispy on the outside, and I'm quite addicted to it. I'm glad there's a good shop in the neighborhood (о´∀`о)
