View on GoogleVisited on Monday around 19:30. A group with a reservation was celebrating a birthday and being quite lively, but the other seats were empty, and no one else came afterward. It was pretty noisy inside, so I'd recommend going with friends rather than on a date. The food was delicious.
View on GoogleAt the time of visit: Tabelog rating 3.28 Crowding: quite empty (around 3 groups) Ease of booking: ◎ online reservations available The Ueno area has lots of Asian restaurants, including Korean and Chinese places. Among them, this restaurant offers the cheapest samgyeopsal in Ueno (I think)!! Because it's all-you-can-eat and drink for 3300円 per personΣ(゚ω゚ノ)ノ The all-you-can-eat meal comes with: ・Sangchu (red leaf lettuce) ・Green onion salad ・Egg soup ・White rice ・Kimchi ・Pork ・Miso and sesame oil Of these, you can get refills of pork, kimchi, sangchu, and green onion salad. The unlimited drinks include sours, highballs, soft drinks, various makgeolli, and even beer♡ However, there are rules: ①Only 1 refill of green onion salad ②Only 2 refills of kimchi and sangchu ※At first we were told up to 3 refills, but after 2, they said, “This is your last refill”? (Maybe it was just us.) I did think perhaps that doesn't count as all-you-can-eat… but it's still cheap, so totally fine! The pork quality differs from regular orders (which probably use blocks of pork belly), as does the grill plate. All the staff are foreign, but they're very pleasant. Since the all-you-can-eat has restrictions, big eaters might find it lacking, but if you just want to enjoy samgyeopsal and drinks, it's great value and really good(*ノˊᗜˋ*)ノ There are also plenty of à la carte dishes, including cheese dakgalbi and fruit makgeolli, so I'd like to come again✧*。\(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )/ ✧*。 Thank you for the meal♪ Ease of visiting alone ☆☆☆☆☆ Desire to visit again ★★★★★
View on GoogleOn the weekend after the cherry blossoms were officially announced, Ueno was packed with people! But just one street back, it was a surprisingly quiet hidden spot. Of course we'd made a reservation, but it was empty! With unlimited drinks… predictably, I drank too much makgeolli and got drunk in the afternoon. Since it's basically an izakaya, I didn't expect much from the food, but my friend said it was delicious. The samgyeopsal came already grilled. That part comes down to preference. The staff all seemed to be non-Korean💦 Thank you for the meal.
