Came across this place with a friend while looking for eats slightly later than usual. It is a really cozy izakaya run by a kind and lovely granny. There were ashtrays so I think this is a smoking-friendly establishment, but it was clean and I did not smell any smoke at all. We were also there when it was empty, so it was nice and quiet. We had small appetites that night so the small dishes were perfect for us, and everything we ordered (Drinks, daily fried potato, gyoza, octopus karaage, butter corn) were delicious :) Especially the gyoza, it wasn't too heavy as gyoza can usually be and was sooo good. Honestly regret not ordering more!

Very welcoming and quaint little izakaya run by an elderly lady, the izakaya was quite quiet suitable for light snacks drinks and chat. Truly a great spot for a chill night with friends

A hidden gem – Warm hospitality and genuine home cooking We visited this wonderful little place in December 2025 and had an unforgettable experience. It was a little difficult to find at first, but the search was more than worth it! What makes this place so special: • Pure freshness: The owner still does the cooking herself here. We placed our order, and she then prepared everything fresh just for us. You can taste the loving attention to detail in every bite. • Atmosphere: The place is incredibly cozy. Despite language and reading barriers, we immediately felt welcome and completely at home. Sometimes hospitality simply needs no words. • Authentic cuisine: Anyone looking for genuine, unadulterated Japanese cooking in a family atmosphere has come to the right place. Conclusion: Don't be put off if you can't find the entrance right away or the menu is a challenge – it's an absolutely authentic experience. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return on our next visit to Japan!
