I really liked it. The architecture is impressive, simple yet powerful, with a calm and open atmosphere that sets the tone before entering the galleries. The current exhibition was beautiful, “Masters of Swedish Painting from Nationalmuseum, Stockholm” and truly worth seeing. A magnificent show, well curated and very enjoyable to explore. A solid cultural experience, especially for anyone who appreciates painting in a peaceful setting.
View on GoogleAn incredible exhibition. The curation is thoughtful and precise, and the galleries are kept beautifully quiet and orderly, which perfectly mirrors the contemplative mood of Wyeth’s art. It’s also exceptional value for money given the depth of the collection on display. Highly recommended.
View on GoogleNice modern art gallery, many different artworks, all by Japanese artists. We liked that it was practically empty and you could wander around freely among the artworks. Some are really really good and recent. There are also other floors but sadly we didn’t visit them as we were out of cash. That’s the other thing - you need cash to pay the entrance fee which is weird in 2026. Oh well.
View on GoogleWent to visit the Swedish art exhibition. Friendly staff, small coin lockers (1ft square) were available to rent for 100 yen. Signage was bilingual so it was very friendly to foreigners and everything was well laid out, quite busy tho. Beware that its no re-entry, and only photograph where signs say uts ok to do so
View on GoogleI really enjoyed my visit here. The budling itself was very interesting. The exhibition when I visited was Masters of Swedish Painting. The artwork on display was incredible and very well curated
