Tokyo Curry Pan
『東京カレーパン』 is a curry pan specialty shop with 雷門店 and 西参道店 branches in Asakusa. Its white curry pan is baked with truffle oil rather than fried, giving it a crisp exterior and chewy interior. The signature 〈のびーるチーズカレーパン〉 is packed with homemade curry simmered for 6 hours and mozzarella cheese, with a wafting truffle aroma. The 〈特上ヒレカツカレーパン〉, connected to Asakusa, the birthplace of katsu curry, is available in limited quantities. There is also a wide range of drinks, including mango lassi and domestically produced craft cola. Its collaboration packaging with popular illustrator 「ヨシフクホノカ」, TV anime 「邪神ちゃんドロップキック」, and clothing brand 「FR2」 has also been attracting attention.

Stumbled upon this Curry Pan shop while wandering one afternoon in January. The warm and crispy food was such a delicious treat, I wish I could have it everyday. I hope to return soon on my next visit!
View on GoogleSoft, airy and fluffy bun that tasted amazing! Had the truffle and cheese curry pan the the flavours were well balanced. The lady at the counter was really friendly as well. Wish I could bring this back home to eat. Was there around lunch time and there was no queue.
View on GoogleGreat hole in the wall curry bread place. The server was so friendly , spoke French with us, it was very nice to us. The curry bread was lovely and we ate it on the bench in front . Definitely recommend it
View on GoogleIt’s my first day in Japan and I think I already found my favourite Japanese snack :) It’s fresh, fluffy, not oily, with balanced flavour of cheese and curry! Keep in mind, they only accept cash, and apparently they bake limited number of buns per day!
View on GoogleI did enjoy the curry pan. But just want to my liking. There was many people standing Around eating, so it’s very popular. Its soft, warm, curry taste was mild. Wasn’t cheesy enough for us to pull apart and stretch it. I wouldn’t be lining up for it, but if no wait. I wouldn’t try another item on menu.
