Tempura restaurant in the Ueno area — went there for lunch and arrived about 10 minutes before opening. There were around 2–3 people waiting ahead of me, so I got in right when the restaurant opened. The tempura was delicious with great flavor, and sitting at the counter allowed me to watch the chef fry each piece right in front of me. The price was reasonable for the quality.

For anyone craving tempuras in a comfortable, traditional setting, this restaurant is an excellent choice. The lunch was both generous and delicious, the welcome was very warm, and you can choose between set lunch menus and course options.

Authentic Tokyo tempura. The crunch, the temperature, and the side dish are all well-thought and prepared. The batter is so light and crispy, but not heavy at all. If you want to try real tempura taste, this is the place for you. They are not too crowded. The place has this Japanese vibe with not so many tables and counter bar seats. We came around 6.30 pm and it's almost full when we left.

staff is very friendly! tempura was very good. not that crispy (not a bad thing). AC was a little bit too cold for us after a while.

Early lunch, got there just before 11:30. Seated at counter right away. Ordered the A set. The tempura batter was heavy. Not like those puffy ones. The ingredients were all fresh and tasty. Friendly service.
