Had a wonderful meal at Take-An Udon in Asakusa. The udon was freshly prepared, with noodles that were perfectly chewy and had an excellent texture. The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting, making every bite enjoyable. The restaurant has a warm and authentic Japanese atmosphere that adds to the dining experience. Despite being popular, the service was efficient and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were satisfying for the price. Located conveniently near the Asakusa attractions, it’s a great place to stop for a meal while exploring the area. If you’re looking for delicious handmade udon and a genuine local dining experience, Take-An Udon is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleIgnore the bad reviews… this place is truly underrated and really had the best time and best udon & tempura here! Thank you for the best time!
View on GoogleWe stumbled upon this small udon shop which was ran by nice women that day. I got an ebitama udon. The meal was so comforting. Esp on a colder autumn day~ and a peaceful & quiet escape from all the hustling and bustling tourism outside Ngl i panic ordered this bc i wasn't ready but the employee already came to the table and i didn't want to send her away lol. but i ended up liking it! It's like an omelet with crab sticks, shrimp, and small fish. We eat something similar at home so I'm familiar with this combination. The broth was also thickened and the noodles were cooked well! yummy meal and they take card payment which is good bc we were so low on cash 😅
View on GoogleExcellent experience! The food is delicious and the service is very friendly and helpful. It’s a very quiet and cozy place to enjoy a meal. They provide an English menu, which is great for travelers. A must-visit if you are in the area!
View on GoogleI always make sure to visit this restaurant whenever I’m in Tokyo—it’s become a must for me. My favorite dish is the tori wakame udon, which never disappoints. The broth is rich, comforting, and full of flavor, while the udon noodles are cooked perfectly with just the right texture. Every bowl feels warm and satisfying, especially after a long day out. The service is consistently great as well—friendly, efficient, and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel relaxed the moment you sit down. Simple, comforting food done right, and I’ll definitely keep coming back every time I’m in town.
