During my stroll through Ueno, I visited the former Tokyo Music School Concert Hall (^^)v Originally located within the Tokyo University of the Arts campus, it was relocated and restored within Ueno Park in the late Showa period and is now designated a National Important Cultural Property✏️ Completed in 1890 (Meiji 23), it was Japan's first full-fledged concert hall🎶 Not only is the building itself old, but the pipe organ in the second-floor hall was imported from England during the Taisho era. It's truly magnificent and well worth seeing❣️

Nice open stage in Ueno Park with good views and sound all around. Nice to use the top area for merch sales as you can keep watching the groups on stage. It does get windy so make sure to bring something warm to wear.

Probably more interesting for Japanese people than for Europeans. The museum items are not translated into English and is of local interest. Several photos of Japanese musicians. The admission is worth it some event is organised at the concert hall at the 2nd floor.
