A great place to go to if you suddenly crave for yakiniku (Japanese grill meat) and you are alone! It’s a small restaurant with limited seatings (sorry, standing), can fit around 8 customers at the same time. The concept is quite interesting, where you stand up and eat, and instead of ordering a plate of meat, here you order by pieces, and you can order just one piece if you like. The taste of the meat is just so so, but it’s a great place for solo travellers. The cost is not cheap, average about 3000yen a person (more if you drink)! Usually gets quite crowded at night, and I see people lining up for it.

Good ikinari steak shop with friendly staff

A great find! Very easy to order small plates and grill to your preference. Good staple sides and drinks. The star of the show are the cuts of A5 and A4 beef.
