寿し政Sushimasa Annex
Our shop is a little hard to find in the backstreets of Asakusabashi, but we serve delicious "鮨" that brings out the flavor of fish using Edomae techniques. We refine our skills and strive every day to share the "happiness on the palate" brought by seasonal fish: the aroma of fresh bluefin tuna, the savoriness of wild white-fleshed fish, the sweetness of live shellfish, the nourishing flavors of silver-skinned fish such as kohada, and the fragrant flavors of simmered ingredients like anago. We look forward to your support.

What a truly culinary experience we just had tonight! Definitely the best food we have during this trip in Tokyo, we have been visiting the different restaurants every night for more than a week. This is truly a hidden gem in a very quiet neighborhood. The sushi could not be better, the ingredients, the freshness, the Way to prepare it. The chef and owner is truly an artist in culinary making. The presentation of each dishes are impeccable. Even the dishes and cups are very tastefully chosen to serve. The chef's English is good and he's very humorous, making the dining experience very memorable, although we don't understand every word. A MUST TRY in Tokyo!! Highly recommended!

View on GoogleI went to 「江戸前寿し政別館」 for some delicious sushi at lunch. About a 5-minute walk from the west exit of Asakusabashi Station, this shop sits quietly one street back from the main road. Inside is a chic space with red as its main color. The chef greets you warmly, immediately putting you at ease. Cheers with a highball! The first dish of the lunch course was abalone. This really calls for sake… Next came a dish of shellfish such as ark shell, served with plenty of myoga and scallion garnishes. I promptly ordered some sake. Then the nigiri began. First, seared red sea bream. Glossy lean tuna. Ark shell, with a crunchy texture and more flavor emerging with every chew. Mirugai clam. The sake kept going down easily. Melt-in-your-mouth chutoro. Sea bream with a refreshing flavor. Soft, sticky-textured squid. Otoro with beautiful knife cuts. My favorite, horse mackerel. Irresistibly fatty. Salmon roe. Conger eel eggs. Finally, a kanpyo roll. I was completely satisfied with delicious sushi and sake at lunchtime. The atmosphere was homey too, so I could relax and enjoy myself. Thank you for the meal!
