Great authentic experience, traditional ambience, we were the only tourists there, but staff was super nice to us and one could speak English well. First time for me to try eel sushi, apparently this place is famous for it and I enjoyed it very much. The other sushi was also very well made. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed it immensely. My knowledge of Japanese is low, but using what I knew, combined with the fact there are English notes on the basic menu, and the waitress knows some English, the dining experience was very lovely. The chef is very capable, and the sushi set I ordered was really good. I would also highly recommend trying out the sake, of which several varieties are served here. This may not be a cheap place to eat, but it is really good.

This place is absolutely delicious. The sushi served here is really fresh and wonderful, but the anago is worth the trip alone. It is so tender and the balance of sweet and savory is perfect. You can smell the grilling as you walk to the door, and the taste does not disappoint. Add on that the chef is super nice and accommodating, and it easily becomes one of my favorite meals in Tokyo.

To be honest, food was average and I was disappointed. Rice could be better considering this is a sushi restaurant and not a conveyor belt chain. Sashimi in chirashi was fresh and thick, but the sashimi in the more expensive top grade nigiri set was too small and thin pieces. Service was good though.
