It’s so nice to get away from the crowds and finds some peace! Hardly anyone walking along the river but you get views of the tower. The walk across the bridge gives you a unique viewpoint with a couple of small see through glass blocks on the bridge. Once over the other side you can walk through the park, grab an ice cream and continue towards the tower.

Extremely pleasant river walk with an impressive view of the Sky Tree tower. Safe and not too busy att 11.30am on weekday. You can take it the sky line, river view, residential flats.

A place you can enjoy a slow walking mode whether evening or night. Can view Skytree tower and Tokyo's Asahi Beer Hall's golden flame sculpture. See the train pass the bridge, it is very quite during winter as it is quite cold and wind are strong at river side, prepare better winter cloth before the walk at night.

Sumida River Walk is a great spot for a relaxing stroll with beautiful views of the river and surrounding cityscape. The walkway is clean, well maintained and easy to access. It offers a nice perspective of Tokyo, especially with views of the skyline and cherry blossoms. Perfect for a calm walk, taking photos, or just enjoying the breeze by the water.

Peaceful and great views. Went on Tuesday around noon near Christmas time and there was barely anyone else there. Not too long, took about 5 min to get from end to end, even with taking pauses for photos. You can look out across the river and also have a great view of Skytree. Great tourist activity on a sunny day, especially if you don’t plan on visiting the actual Skytree tower.
