☆A hidden horumon-yaki spot in Asakusabashi☆ Just off Kuramaebashi-dori — area-wise it's more like Kuramae, I guess? It sits all alone in a spot without many restaurants. It was around 9pm on a Saturday, so the surroundings were pitch dark and deserted😅 I'd known about this place for a while and happened to pass by, so I figured why not and went in! A long, deep interior with a raised seating area (horigotatsu-style) and table seats. There were only 2 of us, but they showed us to a table big enough for 3 on each side! So happy! Ordered the "Evening Drink Set" from the sign out front. Being able to choose Hoppy is just wonderful🥰 We compared the nikomi (stew) and the salt-boiled tongue♪ Both were carefully prepped and delicious😋 Generous portions for a set, too — love it! We ordered hachinosu (honeycomb tripe) sashimi, a horumon assortment (one of each cut), shimacho, and more. Everything was tasty, and next time I want to try other horumon too! The taishō, who runs the place solo, was very mellow and fun to talk to. There's a real matchlock gun on display, and I got to hold it🙇‍♀️ ̖́- Next time I'd love to chat and hear more stories❣️

Once you talk to the manager, they're friendly, funny, and a good person. The interior is spacious, the drinks are cheap, and above all the meat is delicious — the other side dishes are tasty too, and I really love this place! Among the sides, I especially love the kimchi assortment, and to go with rice, the shio musubi!

I was worried after reading the reviews, but I was curious, so I went. The interior was clean, the staff were very friendly, and I had a pleasant time. The meat was tasty too, and I think it's good value. I'm glad the drinks are cheap. Being able to order from the lunch menu even at night is a great deal, and it's delicious. I also felt hygiene was properly taken care of.

I've been here several times with a senior colleague from work. The meat is always delicious, and I always end up getting a refill of a large rice. Today we had the full lineup: loin, harami, kalbi, beef tongue, and a horumon assortment. The senmai sashi, kimchi, and namul also go great with rice. Reading the reviews can make you nervous, but the owner is very friendly and we always have a fun time. I'd like to keep coming regularly!

There was a row of steak places, so I went in without checking first, and the staff suddenly said, "Did you disinfect? Can't you see!" Rude attitude — just as the reviews said, a place I don't want to go to. The bill for 2 came to 10,068 yen, but Oolong tea and one beer, about 1,500 yen Meat, 2 beef dishes, about 1,500 yen Salad, 600 yen 3 horumon dishes 1500 yen Small rice 500 yen Yukhoe 580 yen, Gukbap 600 yen Even by rough calculation that's about 6780, so even including consumption tax they probably overcharged by around 3,000 yen! It just made me sad, especially since it's such a hard time for restaurants in the middle of COVID.
