Smile Thailand isn't just a restaurant; it's a passport to Thailand without leaving Japan. From the moment I opened the menu, I sensed warmth, authenticity, and hospitality. The lunch arrived with a comforting bowl of clear soup, a fresh salad, and fragrant jasmine rice crowned with a perfectly crispy Thai-style fried egg. Alongside sat a vibrant seafood stir-fry bursting with basil, onions, peppers, chillies, and a rich, glossy sauce. Every bite felt beautifully balanced. The seafood was tender, the vegetables retained their crunch, and the sauce delivered that unmistakable harmony of sweet, salty, spicy, and umami flavours. The cucumber offered a refreshing contrast, cleansing the palate before the next delicious mouthful. What truly stayed with me wasn't just the food, but the emotion. Each flavour reminded me of Bangkok's lively streets, Phuket's relaxed beaches, and Chiang Mai's welcoming charm. It didn't merely recreate authentic Thai cuisine; it rekindled cherished travel memories. Smile Thailand serves dishes that nourish both appetite and soul. If you crave genuine Thai flavours, heartfelt hospitality, and an experience that feels like returning home, this restaurant deserves every recommendation. I'll definitely return.

Just finished dinner here and it was huge disappointment. The Tom Yum soup only has 3 prawns which weren’t fresh, you can taste that from texture and smile, there were a few piece of straw mushrooms and herbs in the soup. I ordered a bowl of rice too. The bill was ¥3993. It’s not tasty but pricy here👎🏻.

I’d give it a 4.5 if I could. I came for lunch and walked away satisfied. They have some good lunch deals, and I went with the green curry option, which also comes with a spring roll. The spring roll was fresh and tasty, and the green curry was quite good. As some others have said, it could be spicier. The vibe is super cool and comfortable, and the service was excellent.

The service was very good. The taste was decent, but the chicken didn’t seem very fresh.

The food is good but not on the spicy side to call it legit. Yeah maybe for some foreigners that would be easier for them to adapt. No claiming at all but the staff took all the plate, chopstick and spoon away since we haven’t called to check out. That was quite disappointing even tho i still have my soup on the table and had to ask to have the spoon back to finish.
