It is an old and well kept kissaten serving simple and classic breakfast. The shopkeeper is a sweet and friendly lady (she speaks very little english, but enough for the menu). The toast was THICCC and the butter is fragrant. It has this consistent feel✨ like it has been well made like this for years. Coffee is key brand, well steeped so it is strong. You can stay there for a while. I was journaling abit after my meal and shopkeeper lady has no qualms abt it. Definitely would recommend

The ham toast was absolutely delicious and the drip coffee was great. The atmosphere was calm. The owner was very friendly. My new go-to place in Asakusabashi.

An old school Japanese kissaten(coffee shop) and many smokers gather here. I just love their furniture and interior which have an authentic Showa retro feel. If you don't mind the aroma of cigarettes, this is a cozy shop and serves good Japanese-style sandwiches with bread from the famous Pelican bakery.

I arrived at 9:15am today (Saturday) but it was closed. So sad!
