It was a hot day and we were hungry on our way to Asakura, so we went to this shop. Initially we didn’t have much expectations but upon entry the place felt like we were transported to a different time. The atmosphere felt warm and the service was also warm. We ordered Cold Soba (Zarusoba) with tempura and it was really good. I would recommend it to anyone seeking for some authentic Japanese experience. The only downside is that you have to pay in cash so make sure you bring cash.

A small local Soba noodle restaurant offering a variety of cold and hot soba dishes. Was not my favorite personally. The food had a weird smell I couldn't put my finger on.

昭和の下町のお蕎麦屋さんですね。「七福神そば」は NHK で「鶴瓶の家族に乾杯」で放映されたそうです。テレビ朝日の「じゅん散歩」も高田純次さんが２回訪問されているようです。ざるそばは麺の量がとても多かったです。
