This food stall inside the zoo is mainly about convenience, and it serves that purpose well. The menu focuses on simple Japanese-style dishes such as udon and pork don, which are filling and easy to enjoy after a long walk. The food quality was just so-so, nothing particularly memorable, but acceptable for a zoo setting. That said, the prices were reasonable, especially considering the location, and the food came out quickly. One positive point is that the stall was new and clean, making it a comfortable place to sit down and take a break. After spending hours walking around the zoo, it was a welcome spot to rest, recharge, and escape the crowds for a bit. Overall, while the food itself isn’t the main attraction, this stall works well as a convenient and comfortable pit stop during a day at the zoo.

Came on a friday morning around 10.30am. Was happy to come across this restaurant inside the zoo itself. Saruyama kitchen have 2 floors & the 2nd floor has an amazing view of the zoo and to people watch. During this cold season, it was definitely also nice to find somewhere warm and to rest over some food and drinks. Really loved the calm atmosphere of the place. I tried the Vegetable Udon while my partner went for beef udon. Food was decent, and the mains cost around ¥600-¥1200. Prices on menu is tax inclusive.

Thank you for the kids meal. The meal is wonderful and awesome. Especially the jelly for the meal which is worthy to try with tender and smoothy grape flavor.

We had to spend 1 hour in line.. they only have 3 cashiers and the line goes outside the building. Food was great

Considering this is inside an attraction is incredibly reasonable fast food.
