A Chinese restaurant near 湯島駅. I visited just after 12 on a weekday. Even though it was lunchtime, there were a fair number of seats available, so I got in easily! You order using the tablet on the table, and the menu has photos, making it easy to choose. There are plenty of lunch sets, with classics such as black vinegar sweet-and-sour pork, tantanmen, and sanratanmen for around 1,000円 to 1,500円. This time I ordered the black vinegar sweet-and-sour pork that caught my interest, along with xiaolongbao! The xiaolongbao looked cute too, which was fun. The dim sum menu is extensive, and it's easy to add individual dishes such as steamed shrimp dumplings or xiaolongbao. There were lots of other things I wanted to try, but I held back because I couldn't finish them all.. Food can sometimes take a little while when it's busy, so it might be best to go when you have a generous break! The portions are substantial too, so I think it's a good choice when you want to eat your fill!

A restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Shanghai cuisine. The black vinegar sweet-and-sour pork was sweet and tangy with tender meat, and the scallion oil noodles were fragrant and delicious. The medicinal herbal tea was relaxing too, and I was satisfied.

A restaurant just a short distance from 湯島駅, in an alley with lots of snack bars and Philippine pubs. It's open until morning. Apparently, its Chinese cuisine is classified as Shanghai cuisine. Above all, the menu selection is huge, a plus◯ Whatever you order, nothing disappoints; it's delicious. Restaurants run by Chinese people usually serve large portions of each dish, but here the portions are just right, neither too small nor too large◯ Mama is friendly and tells you about recommendations and all sorts of things. The black vinegar sweet-and-sour pork and the stir-fried garlic shoots, which aren't on the menu, were outstanding.
