Had an amazing time at this rock bar! It’s a cozy, intimate space which gives it that classic, authentic Japanese bar vibe. The owner, Toshiyuki Tanaka (Toshy), is an absolute legend. He is incredibly welcoming, has fantastic energy, and treats every customer like an old friend. If you want great music, excellent drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere with an awesome host, you have to visit. Thank you, Toshy. This is my forst time in Japan and i loved this place.👌.

They use Adam quality monitor speakers and manage to avoid chaotic acoustics which is usually present when people play rock music in a room. I think the very long room helps better acoustics. I sat there for almost three hours during a Saturday night, with no listening fatigue, to my very big surprise. I listed the kinds of songs I listened that night. That’s an interesting mix. I learned some artists I don’t know! All customers can choose what songs to play, so every night is different. I will come again and again if possible!

There’s a reason this place has such good reviews. Toshi (not sure if that’s correct spelling) is a very inviting bartender who makes you feel welcome and comfortable when you come in. The place is very loud playing great rock music so be prepared. It’s a smaller space so if you come during a crowded time it might be difficult to get a seat. Very nice selection of whiskey and there are some beers on draft including Guinness. Smoking friendly. If you’re looking for a place to unwind a bit and have a couple affordable drinks, check it out
