Wonderful meal near to the temple. The staff has good English skills and were helpful and welcoming. There are western fare options and some savory French wines. The steamed chicken in creamy mustard sauce was delicious.

We ordered chicken breast and steak. The meat itself was fine, but the sauce tasted strange and sour, and the potatoes were not fresh. For dessert, we tried the crème brûlée and the “today’s special.” Both were extremely disappointing. The crème brûlée had too much cream and lacked vanilla flavor, while the “special” felt like a mix of leftovers—the fruit seemed frozen for days and had no taste. Overall, apart from the environment and service, the food was very unpleasant and absolutely not worth the price!

Had the beef stew(with rice) and a creme brûlée, for ¥4660. Was empty on a weekday dinner. Both delicious; very tender meat in the stew, and the caramel was very flavorful for the brûlée. The fruits on the brûlée were a bit of a surprise but they matched the taste. Portions were filling. Pricey for this type of food but maybe it's warranted given the fact that the place is a bit historic.

Mixed experience near Asakusa. Atmosphere & service were good, but food quality didn't match the price. My chicken & steak were okay, but the sauce had a strange sourness and potatoes tasted stale. Dessert was worse; the creme brulee was overly creamy & bland, and the "special" tasted like old fruit. Wouldn't recommend based on the food.
