Located at the Global gallery side of the museum, this is the in-house restaurant at the museum. Order via their tablet device, service is quite fast and efficient. Food is ok, portions are on the smaller side but mostly still enough. Usually not busy and great to come with families with kids

We took a break from museum walk in here. Had a lunch and some beers. Hamburg tasted good. My daughter love fighting love it even she’s quite picky about food. The restaurant sit above the big exhibition hall so you can also what’s going on down there. Nice place to chill out and get ready for more walking…..

There are two entrances, but only one has the electronic queue terminal. And we entered from the opposite side where there were no terminal (only a notice that if crowded, use terminal... what terminal?). No staff greeted us or explained anything. After waiting a few minutes and seeing that many tables were free, we sat down at the nearest one. There was a tablet for ordering, but it didn’t work. When we asked a waitress for help, she called the manager. The manager approached us with a dismissive attitude - no greeting, no apology, no explanation. It felt like we were being scolded and told to leave just for not knowing their system. It was an extremely disappointing and unwelcoming experience, especially compared to the high level of hospitality you usually find in Japan.
