Set A (ramen and half-size fried rice) 850円 Generous portions, fantastic flavor, and great value! The wonton noodles the person next to me had looked delicious.
View on GoogleAn old-school neighborhood Chinese restaurant that really lives up to the word old-school. The chashu ramen has a gentle, light soy sauce-based broth. The noodles are thin and curly, and very easy to eat. It comes topped with a whopping 6 large, thick slices of chashu, so it feels more like eating meat than ramen, which is great. The service was friendly and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere!
View on GoogleTanmen: 650円 The noodles and toppings were passable. The broth lacked umami. The complimentary salad had commercial Thousand Island dressing and tasted good. There were ashtrays, so smoking seems to be allowed at all times. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleI had set C for lunch. It comes with ramen, a half portion of curry rice, and chilled tofu! This place has a relatively small menu for a Chinese restaurant, focusing on the classics, so I imagine you can reliably expect tasty food.
View on GoogleRamen with a thin chicken-bone soy sauce broth, 550円. Better than 日高屋, but nothing special. A mini chilled tofu appetizer is served. Free. A smoker's paradise even at lunch. Too smoky to be a place for eating. 2025. Visited again after 4 years, but smoking is still allowed at lunch. The fried rice does taste good, though.
