Awesome restaurant, owner was super nice even though i am a complete foreigner and speak no japanese. Food was delicious and the vibe felt very authentic. The unagi, mackerel and salt fried fish was amazing!

This was the closest restaurant to Minn, the hotel we stayed at. Staff were very friendly, and very accomodating of us despite them only speaking a small bit of English. Food did take a bit longer to come, as there is only one chef, but all dishes we ordered were tasty. Fried mushroom, fried tofu and grilled chicken are recommended.

Great food and small local restaurant. One of the best katsu curries we had in japan by far! We even came back a few times as we wanted more but it was sadly shut! Such a good restaurant

It is a great cozy izakaya/Nabe shop. They actually have a shop in Hongo, but opened this new shop and it is great. Food always good and nutritious, the couple (owner) are very friendly and funny. I always like to go there. During lunch, they sell bento. All their food is pretty big, originally made for sumo wrestler, because the owner was a sumo in his early days. I can warmly recommend it. For those, who can speak Japanese, I took pictures of their menu cards and some of the lovely drawings on the wall. Please enjoy!
