The delicious ramen in Asakusa. A friendly customer came outside and invited us to visit this restaurant.
View on GoogleGood old style ramen noodles.
View on GoogleThe chicken-bone broth was light, yet rich in flavor and crystal clear! The noodles were firm, too, and paired perfectly with the soup! The shop showed its history, but it was kept very clean and was a pleasant space. The proprietress and owner were truly lovely people, too. When I come to Asakusabashi again, I'd like to come back to eat(≧▽≦)
View on GoogleI ordered chashumen🍜850 yen. It's a perfectly ordinary shoyu-flavored ramen. There are only counter seats, and payment is required in advance.
View on GoogleThis Chinese restaurant, founded in Showa 8, is always bustling, mainly with local customers ranging from solo diners to families. The small plate of 6 fried wontons is a quick dish that arrives promptly; with crisp, crunchy wrappers and a mildly sweet filling, it's a recommended plate that seems suited to both rice and alcohol. The 3 types of dim sum are xiaolongbao, shrimp dumplings, and shumai. The original Tokyo ramen is a simple, classic shoyu ramen with chashu, menma, and green onions. The noodles are thin and straight, with a somewhat nostalgic chicken-bone-based shoyu broth. There are many intriguing menu items, including jajamen, Chinese curry rice, jun reba don, and the head chef's recommended Taiwan ramen.
