A lovely time in an atmospheric restaurant. Very friendly people! The quality is excellent, too. The stew was delicious. Thank you !
View on Google**Authentic Taste, Excellent Service – A Hidden Gem!** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m so glad I tried this restaurant! The food is incredibly authentic—the pork cutlet was perfectly juicy and delicious, just like what you’d find in Japan. The lunch set was a great deal and so satisfying. What really stood out was the warm, welcoming service. The owners are friendly and make you feel at home. Even though most customers were local Japanese (always a good sign!), they have an English menu, and Google Translate works fine if you need extra help. If you’re looking for a true taste of Japan with excellent hospitality, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!
View on GoogleVery helpful with an English menu. Beef stew was too die for, melted in my mouth immediately when I put it in. Pork katsu was also excellent very fatty and rendered
View on GoogleRecommend by a Japanese guy and it turns out great! The staff is very nice and friendly. Don’t worry if you don’t know Japanese as there’s English menu as well. I ordered an Ox tongue stew and rice + miso soup. (The stew is a la carte, rice and soup is ordered separately). Last but not least, a glass of Highball. By any chance if you visit Asakusa in the evening you may come and try this out. They opened at 5pm.
View on GoogleI chose not to go to the crowded restaurants while touring Asakusa, but when I saw the sign indicating it's the third generation running the place, I decided to give it a try. There must be a reason for their long-lasting success. My family and I had a delightful meal there. Despite the seemingly simple set meals, the flavors were incredibly heartwarming. The tonkatsu and fried shrimp were especially delicious. Even though the grandma at the shop is quite old, she always noticed our needs and provided the best service promptly. Thank you to the restaurant for giving us such a delicious meal and a wonderful memory.
