Beware foreigners. We ordered an Italian salad (¥1050) and a Margherita pizza (¥1850). The owner asked us if it was okay to add eggplant to the salad, and we asked to add extra cheese to the pizza. We were charged ¥5740 for all. When we asked about the bill, we were told ¥800 was for the additional eggplant, and they doubled the price of the pizza for the “double” cheese. The rest, as the owner’s wife said, was tax because “it was not included in the menu”. We felt scammed because we were foreigners, especially since we didn’t get an itemized bill, just a man entering numbers into a calculator. The wife, the only one who spoke English, didn’t help clarify the matter. This made the experience completely unpleasant and uncomfortable.

The food was good, but we were very disappointed with the bill. We were charged more than double the menu price just for adding some eggplant to the salad and a little extra cheese to the pizza. We were also told that the menu prices were before tax and additional charges, which was not clear at all. We felt overcharged and misled. Make sure to confirm the exact price before ordering, as the menu prices may not reflect what you will actually be charged.

The owner is welcoming and nice. The food was also good in terms of price and taste. One of the best Italian restaurants in this area for sure.

The owner was very friendly, spoke a bit of english ans the food was delicious. 100% recommend!
