Amazing experience! Our family loved petting, holding feeding the large variety of owls! Also held hedgehogs, pet a a sand cat and fennic fox, and marveled at a sloth, ground hog and variety of other birds. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We could stay as long as we wanted so spent hours!

There were two helpers at the shop. One is super friendly and one is very rough, but still helpful and answers all my questions. It's a very small shop, but lots of owls. This place isn't busy and no time limit. Probably because it's not very busy. Once I enter they let me know i cant take photos or videos until I've paid. They also dont allow videos panning the shop. This isn't a café, just an owl petting facility. Theres no real coffee. 1650 yen, but can pet and touch as many owls as you want (as long as they're allowed to be touched). A few owls and animals are owned by separate owners and don't allow for photos. They have a giant sloth owned by an owner so no public posts are allowed. The owls are very cute, the helpers do care about the animals. This isn't as well maintained of a facility as some other ones in tokyo, but I was able to spend 2 hours here, mostly by myself at the facility. It's very humid and has a strong pet facility smell. Probably to accommodate the animals, so no complaints. I held 4 different owls. They're much heavier than I thought, so they do tire out my arm. It's very cute to have them on my arm and to pet them while holding them. The small ones are light and I can spend more time with them. They have one snowy owl, which doesnt like to be petted on the head. You must pet him on his chest, which was scary since it felt like he was going to bite my hand. Overall, very fun experience. Came at 12pm without a booking and a couple of groups of Japanese families came in after, but left before I did so I had the facility to myself for the most part. The staff answered all my questions. I asked the rough staff how to pet the snowy owl and she told me it's hard to show me because the owl hates her. Then she came and showed me anyway, even though the owl bit her. Would come again, just be cautious as their talons are very strong and beaks are sharp.

Highly not recommended if you’re an animal lover. This is a very very small, rundown shop with a number of chained down birds and caged animals. These animals don’t seem to have any freedom at all. Even though the birds allow guests to pet them, they can get a little angsty depending on their mood. So touch them with caution. I would not call this place a cafe, just a small shop to pet animals. There’s only 4 small stools around the shop with no tables at all. You will be offered one small canned drink per guest. It costs 1650 yen each person for one hour, but you’ll definitely want to leave after 15 mins. The place makes you feel as stressed as the animals there. You’re better off at ueno zoo (I recommend visiting the zoo) Not sure if this place is even legal, but definitely not humane with the animals.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T GO HERE. These creatures are obviously not well taken care of. I know some of the older reviews are positive, but there was a change of management and the reviews after that get a lot more negative. I can attest to the fact that these owls are kept chained down all day under bright lights (they're nocturnal!), and the result is that they are visibly tired and irritable. My group regretted ever financially supporting this place, as it is not how these animals should be treated.

This was my first time visiting an exotic animal café, and it was an incredible experience. You can meet owls, fruit bats, hedgehogs, a toucan, a sloth, fennec foxes, and several other animals. Being able to see and interact with them up close is a rare experience that you won’t have every day. The hosts were also very friendly and welcoming. The animals are tame, but they are still exotic animals and need to be handled with care and respect. Don’t expect them to come to you like they would in a typical “cat café” where you go for a latte. This is more of an interactive space focused on exotic animals, so visitors should come with the right expectations.
