I was able to enjoy a simple, home-cooked style meal. You pick out a few side dishes first, and at the end, they serve them with rice and soup. If I lived here, this place would definitely be part of my regular routine.. and to be honest, once you start adding up a few dishes, it’s not as cost-effective as a one plate style restaurant, but it’s still the best spot for a quick, light bite. Above all isn't being as comfortable as having at home the ultimate plus?

I never thought there were such a type of all-you-can-eat restaurant in Japan until I found this one. In Japan, there are mostly cold dishes, and if you don't want Chinese food, it's usually hot. So once it gets served, the waiter will heat it up for you. Of course, only some need to be heated - most don't at all. Actually, eating raw and cold food for a long time is really bad, especially because it can severely damage your immune system.

We tried this restaurant with friends during our trip to Japan, and it was a great experience ! • The Location: It’s in a perfect spot—right on a lively main street, close to plenty of shops and things to do. • The Service: The staff gave us an incredibly warm and welcoming reception. Truly amazing customer service ! • The Value: And the prices?! What can I say... only around €6 for the food shown in the attached photo. Absolutely insane value for money ! A huge recommendation from French visitors! 🇫🇷 Highly recommended!

Quick, easy and affordable lunch spot. You can pick a bunch of side dishes from the fridge and they heat it all up for you. The staff were so friendly and spoke English. By no means an amazing food place but great for the fact you can customise your lunch and very affordable. My whole set came to 800¥!

Komachi Shokudo delivers a simple Japanese breakfast experience that feels just like home. The dishes are comforting, good for those who appreciate the elegance of uncomplicated, traditional flavors. Service is good—waiters and waitresses are fast & responsive to reheat the dishes. The restaurant itself is clean and nicely lit, creating a warm and inviting space for a casual meal.
