We came here for an after dinner drink last night and it was exceptional! Fantastic vibes, great drinks, reasonable prices. You can tell they really care to curate the aesthetic. I also enjoyed the retro-soul playlist they had cranking during our visit! Looking forward to coming back one day!

I’m usually suspicion of western style food served in Japan. It’s usually on par with a Denny’s and it’s a bad time for everyone. But this place, holy smokes. It’s good enough to be in Portland or Seattle. We got the bacon and egg scramble, and French toast. The French toast was a bit undercooked for my preference but they made it worthwhile by leaning into the almost custard-like center, so that’s probably by design. The bread was excellent. Their hand drip coffees were fancy and delicious, saying this as a person who rarely drinks coffee. The staff spoke English perfectly well, and they were kind about me practicing my beginner Japanese with them. Plus the vibes and aesthetic of the space were lovely. Chill music, beautiful plants, good energy. Could easily spend a day here working or studying (and it seems like some do).

Found my new favorite Tokyo hangout. Spent my morning at Nui. while waiting for check-in and honestly didn't want to leave. The aesthetic is so unique and the vibe is incredibly soothing. • Drink: Matcha latte was 9/10. • Eat: Get the French toast (it's a total banger). The eggs and bacon were okay, but the toast stole the show. Whether you're working or just winding down, this place hits the spot. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Update: Came back for coffee during the day. The hand pour and lattes were lovely. The anko chocolate canele was tasty too. They have strong wifi, comfy seats and good lighting. You have to look out for power outlets as those seats usually are taken up. I would gladly stay here the whole day to work again. 💗 Cafe in the day and bar at night. Good for working. The drinks and cocktails are so good. Love the fried chicken too. 💕 The staff here is super friendly too.

Food was really nice and it’s such a cozy cafe in Kuramae tucked away in the neighborhood. The stand-out was definitely the coffee!! However, it’s worth mentioning that they have some high-rise tables and chairs which I got seated at, and there was a metal rod thing underneath that I accidentally hit. I woke up the following morning to a bruise above my knee from it. This is just a fair warning for everyone to be careful of the tables, but other than that it’s still a great coffee shop.
