nano-coffeeroaster
All products we handle are Ethiopian coffee. We offer specialty coffee from limited regions and specific small-scale farmers in Ethiopia that are rarely distributed in Japan. This is a coffee stand that sells drinks and freshly roasted beans, a unique benefit of our in-house roasting. All products we handle are Ethiopian coffee.

Returning to nano-coffeeroaster for the second time as a tourist. We were deeply impressed by our first visit in January 2026, and decided to drop by again in April 2026. It is an Ethiopian specialty coffee roaster/cafe nested within the Asakusabashi neighbourhood. The range of flavour offered by different types of beans/processes was amazingly wide. The owner was very kind and could communicate in English. They offer daily coffee (by machine), and hand-drip coffee. Both can be served in exquisite Japanese ceramic cups, or takeaway cups. The small batch coffee maintains the freshness of the beans, and could be purchased at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for Ethiopian coffee lovers. We are definitely coming back for a cup of good coffee!
View on GoogleI’ve recently been on an Ethiopian coffee bean kick recently so I was thrilled to check out this place. A variety of beans to choose from, you’ll find the taste you’re looking for. It’s a bit more expensive here, but getting a gesha option for 1000 yen isn’t bad. And the pour over itself was delicious. You get to pick your own cup too. The owner was super friendly and we chatted for a bit which was nice. Go support this place.
View on GoogleOne of the best cups of coffee I’ve had in Tokyo. The Ethiopian Gesha was exceptional—roasted to perfection to highlight its delicate floral notes. The staff are incredibly welcoming and truly know their craft. A must-visit for any specialty coffee lover!" Thank you mr.kasuga ❤️🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
View on GoogleStumbled upon this place while walking by as a visitor and had a really great experience. The people working here are genuinely nice and welcoming. You can tell they actually care about coffee, too—the brewing is spot on, and the beans they use have a really rich taste and amazing aroma. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through.
View on GoogleSuch a great place if you are looking Ethiopean Coffee. The owner is really friendly and will walk you through the different kind of coffee beans he has in his store. Btw, Nano Coffee roasts their beans in small batches in store.
