This is a long-established soba restaurant located in Asahi-kai Shotengai in Kiyokawa. There are several old-fashioned town soba restaurants on this street, but it seems they are trying to differentiate themselves from other shops by offering Ni-hachi handmade soba with limited quantities and a very limited menu, and also serving cafe-style menus. I had known about its existence for a long time, but I visited for the first time for lunch on July 13th and had the Meat and Leek Seiro for ¥900. It's a menu often seen these days where you dip cold soba into a hot soup containing pork, leeks, and cabbage with a drizzle of chili oil, but the meat was thickly sliced and satisfying, and the soba was also slightly flat, typical of handmade soba, with good aroma and delicious. For soba over ¥900, there is a small rice service, so I had it, and it goes well with rice. It's a small shop with only a counter, and it seems the landlady runs it alone, so she told me it would take quite a while as soon as I entered, so be careful if you are in a hurry. The basic soba menu is kake and seiro, and other than that, there was only mushroom egg drop soba, curry nanban and curry seiro, and the meat and leek seiro I had, and there were cafe menus such as soba flour chiffon cake, coffee, tea, matcha, and matcha latte. This was probably a normal town soba restaurant in the past, but since there are such shops nearby, I think the current style is good.

A soba restaurant in Asakusa, Tokyo. "Nakamuraya" A shop that has been around for about 100 years. No machines are used All soba is handmade. Soba sells out in 15 servings a day. Business hours are short, but please go if you can. At the owner's request, there are no photos inside. I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal😋

During the reconstruction period after the war, it is said that a group of young people called the "seven" gathered every night at 11 o'clock in a six-tatami mat room at the Hoteiya inn before the current "Economy Hotel Hoteiya" was rebuilt, to work out plans for the reconstruction of Sanya. According to my uncle, who is 100 years old this year and was serving at the time, they ordered late-night meals from "Nakamuraya Honten" which was operating on Sanya-dori at the time or the Chinese restaurant "Suisenro" next door. Also, I have heard stories that when it rained continuously in the 30s of Showa, the inn owner cooked food for workers who had lost their daily jobs and were hungry, and when they collected 10,000 servings of udon, they received cooperation from nearby soba restaurants such as Nakamuraya. Note that they are closed on (Tuesday), (Wednesday), (Thursday) !!

Lunch on a business trip☆ I rarely order unusual items, but I ordered the recommended Meat and Leek Seiro! It seems you can get mini rice, but I didn't order it w Since it's run by one person, it takes some time depending on the situation, but the taste is normally delicious♪ The interior shows neatness, and other than me, it seemed like others were using it as a cafe w

Came for lunch with my wife. Is this shop managed by a female owner alone? Photography is prohibited. I apologize. I had seasonal soba, but it felt bland. Perhaps my tongue, accustomed to umami seasonings, felt unsatisfied.
