We visited the Mountain Cafe for dinner. This happened to be our first trip to Asakusa in Tokyo. The cafe had a wonderful ambiance with vintage charm. The lady who kindly attended to us was friendly and helpful. We ordered the mentai cheese okonomiyaki and neapolitan pasta. Both were delicious and full of flavour. These dishes were cooked upon order so the food was fresh and served hot. We also enjoyed the ice cream sodas here. The cafe is well located along the stretch of the main street in Asakusa which makes it convenient to reach. It was a great dining experience 😊

Stumbled across this cafe for dessert after dinner! The staff were very friendly. They served a generous portion of matcha ice cream with red bean paste and matcha flavoured jelly. It paired really well with the tea. The matcha roll was light. The warm mochi with red bean soup was also delightful surprise - it was so chewy and stringy!

Cozy place to enjoy ice cream and desserts. Matcha ice cream is really good. Must try Anmitsu with Matcha Ice cream.

Such a warm a cozy place. Great service. Have to order 1 dish per person. Nice place to escape the winter chill. Parfait was on the pricer side and I personally felt that there was too much whipped cream. The fruit was juicy and fresh.
