Really tasty food served in a very local Japanese eatery. One can tell that this is where really Japanese local eat. The price is reasonable and the serving is so generous that 2 ladies can share one set. We ate kimchi pork set meal and pork belly charsiu set meal and we are so satisfied and full for hours.

**Highly Recommended** Absolutely bang for buck place and the food served there is simple and YUM 😋. The servers are very friendly and can assist you in placing orders. There is a bit of que during peak hours but it clears quickly too....On a 🌧️ day we had to wait for 10-15 mins maximum outside but I feel it's so worth it. Food was served at an absolutely perfect temperature which was the best meal I had that day on a rainy day. Miso soup is standard but served at the right temperature which is so rare to find. Shredded Chicken with cabbage 🥬 and rice is such a comfort food. Highly recommended. The Pork cutlet with egg was very different and was the star of the meal. Such a simplicity one would feel at first bite and it's almost impossible to stop after that. The fried chicken was tasty too. Egg on pork cutlet (maybe Katsu/tonkatsu) was something very unique. I found this place while walking and looking for an authentic experience and I am extremely happy that this place was a sheer joy. Well done to the chefs and servers. P:S: - permission was sought prior taking pictures.

I read the reviews and almost turned around at the question of hygiene. One post said be careful. I'm a foodie so I try everything. I'm the one that will go to the market with bugs in Cambodia and try it. But all the years I've been eating in Tokyo (this is visit 4), this is the first place that actually jacked up my cast iron stomach and caused me to have to take Pepto bismol 🥺 Atmosphere was good. Got there when it first opened, was the 1st order. Food was indeed flavorful... The ginger pork and miso were, but the chicken cutlet was not. Just in case, if you're a foreigner, have your meds ready.

I ordered the cheese hambagu and croquette set for ¥1,100, and it was definitely worth it! The croquette was the standout for me—crispy, flavorful, and so addictive. I usually struggle to finish full meal sets in Japan, but with this one, I felt like I could keep eating forever 😆

Amazing food, incredible value, local vibe (eatery under the Ueno railway line), queue to eat. Highly recommend
