We visited in October after I saw this on Instagram, though, we are big enough cat fans and love to try new snacks so much that we probably would have stopped on our own. There was quite the line so I imagine the place is pretty popular. We decided to get 12 cat pancakes, two of each flavor: plain, custard, chocolate, strawberry, matcha and seasonal Japanese apple. They were all delicious but I think apple was my favorite.

I rarely leave reviews but the middle-age lady at the counter is exceptionally nice! Most Japanese people are nice, but she's on a different level. Really sweet and very pleasant to talk to despite the language barrier. The castella is really good, but not the best. Can be eaten right after being served, but reheating it will make it a lot better. This was a little bit out of my way, but I'm glad I made time to try it!

We stopped her as part of the Asakusa mystery walk, and it was by far the best food stop we made! Lovely. Our 11yo daughter says “It was super nice and the shapes were really cute. I would defo come back!!

Cute desserts with 6 flavours to choose from. It’s like cream puffs. You can also choose to eat it hot or cold, which gave it a different texture.

We ordered one of each flavor. Then we cut them up so we each got a bite of them. They were extremely cute and maybe about an inch long. All of the fillings were delicious. Well it may seem expensive what you get. It was a fun treat.
