Best food ever

This is オリーブ油そば三六 Note: it is not 佐賀ラーメン美登里 The shop’s vibe is pretty good It was a flavor I’d never tried before, probably chicken chashu cooked at a low temperature. I ordered a large portion, but there weren’t many noodles It came with a fresh lemon and a squeezer; the flavor felt just a step short, which was disappointing. It’s within walking distance of home, so I hope they keep trying For regular abura soba, I might end up going to 万人力, also within walking distance.

There wasn’t even a welcome when I entered, and the ramen had no discernible umami. It was my precious Sunday lunch, and I didn’t want it to end here, so I left more than half of both the ramen and fried rice. I eat at all sorts of places, but this was a first.

Saga ramen isn’t widely known, but here you can enjoy a distinctive soup that adds a unique sweetness to Kyushu tonkotsu. The nori topping, said to be a premium product from 有明, cannot be ordered extra off-season. If possible, I’d like to enjoy extra nori.

This is my impression from when it first opened, but it was very delicious, so ☆４. I think inari sushi came as a set to make up for it not being filling enough. At one point, opening hours were cut considerably because soup production couldn’t keep up; could that be behind the recent negative reviews from Local Guides?
