Lured by the heat of summer, I visited the Chinese restaurant Meika in Matsugaya for lunch. I had the summer limited jajangmyeon. The sweet and spicy meat miso blends well with the noodles, and the crunchy cucumber is a refreshing accent. I ordered it because I was lured by the words "summer limited", but this is a deliciousness that makes me think I want to eat it even if it's not limited. Without realizing it, I kept slurping the noodles in silence, and in the end, I stared at the plate reluctantly (lol). The calm atmosphere typical of an old-fashioned town Chinese restaurant, comfortable, and this is a bowl I want to eat even on a hot day. I want to visit again during the summer. It's a small town Chinese restaurant run by a family (?), but the inside is very clean and comfortable. I've been there several times and ate several menus, but personally, the Mapo series was especially delicious. (The photo is Mapo Tofu set, Mapo Tofu Ramen + Gyoza, Ramen + Mini Hoikoro Don) Unlike shops run by Chinese people, there are many gentle seasonings for Japanese people, so for those who expect authentic taste, it might feel a little bland. I would be happy if dessert and half-size menus increased.

I visited after 6 years, but overall the seasoning was bland and the color of the soup etc. had also changed 😆 Maybe because the customer base here is mostly elderly, they might have responded to their needs! It's a pity for me, but it's a town Chinese restaurant that is normally delicious.
